These versatile La Sportiva Bushido running shoes have been created for a number of off-road runs such as mountain running and city park running offering a high level of stability, shock absorption and comfort. The versatile sole is ideal for all types of terrain including stone, grass, moss and mud which is ideal for running in either high humidity or on dry ground.

Upper

The upper includes airmesh which includes nylon fabric woven into a breathable mesh pattern which is highly durable. It also includes thermal adhesive mircofibre which protects against rubbing and abrasion, high frequency welded ripstop for the lacing which creates an equal partition of tension during training runs and TPU toe cap. The external shell in TPU wraps around the midsole to enhance stability, while maintaining the weight necessary to provide adequate structure to the shoe. The upper uses an internal slip-on construction method which fits the foot like a sock without causing excessive pressure. The lining includes mesh and no sweat lateral mesh inserts also with a air mesh tongue, which makes the Bushido very breathable.

Midsole

The Bushido midsole is made with standard compressed molded EVA. The compressed EVA gives durability and reactivity on soft ground where the need for shock absorption is reduced. A rock-guard insert in dual density EVA is located on the forefoot on the shoe and TPU shank. TPU is highly abrasion resistant and is extremely strong in cold temperatures.

Outsole

The sole is made from Dual-Density FriXion® XT V-Groove™ with Impact Brake System™. FriXion® XT is used on dual rubber soles which give the perfect combination of grip, durability and shock absorption. The innovative system of Impact Brake System™ is applied to the sole to absorb negative ground impact, to help improve downhill grip. It offers real advantages during racing by reducing negative ground impact. With the position of the lugs allowing many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground, it ensures maximum impact absorption on traverse routes, uphill and downhill, both on soft terrain and hard ground.

The footbed of the Bushido is 5mm Ortholite Mountain Running Egonomic which offers breathability for a cooler foot and a unique open cell structure which creates a moisture management system. The long-term cushioning of the insole will retain over 95% of its thickness over time and won't flatten out and anti-microbial agents and washable properties are used for a more hygienic shoe. The mountain running ergonomic 4mm is for performance oriented and an optimal compromise between comfort and reactivity.
